268K miles when sold (these were pre sale pics). Freaking loved that car. That platinum edition 850T wagon was awesome too.

Mmmm, tasty. How are the whiteblock sixes, anyway? There's nothing quite like a good straight-six, and the turbocharged 5-pot version in my 850R has impressed me so far - 213,000 miles, and aside from the obligatory oil leaks, it still feels like new.

they only leak oil when the breather needs to be replaced! I had an r wagon, 850 and v70 and flavors. The 3.0 six is glorious as soon as you come to grips with 40k timing belt changes. Easier than the 850 due to engine position though. Most glorious sounding wot engine I have owned

Yeah, the previous owner neglected it for long enough to cause seal issues despite the breather being fixed. Still, I'm used to British cars, so I just treat it as a sign that the engine still has oil in it.

I think that I might have to hunt down a 960 or S90... RWD has its appeal, too.

ha yeah, I have owned a few british and french cars to know that.

I would stick with the 3.0l if you wanted to get a 960, but the S/V90's just have the nicest interiors and an extended t-belt change period (75K wooo)
